Helping students turn intention into action.
Chronomus LLC develops educational technology that helps students organize assignments, manage executive function challenges, and build lasting academic habits.
Currently is developed and operated by Chronomus LLC, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Most productivity apps weren't built for students.
Almost every task manager on the market was designed for adults running projects at work — not teenagers juggling five classes, a part-time job, and a science fair deadline. Currently starts from a different brief entirely.
Built for boardrooms, not backpacks
Most task managers were designed for adults running projects, complete with sprints and stakeholders — not students trying to remember which homework is due tomorrow.
Every future task, all at once
Long backlogs and date-stacked calendars make next month's project feel just as urgent as tonight's homework — which makes it hard to know where to even begin.
Planning is the hardest part
For students with ADHD or executive function challenges, figuring out a first step is often harder than doing the actual work once it starts.
Large projects become Waves. Progress happens through Ripples.
Every big assignment in Currently starts as a Wave — a research paper, a science fair project, a college essay. Waves can feel large and distant, which is exactly why students rarely start them early.
So Currently breaks each Wave into Ripples: small, specific work sessions that build toward the finished project. A student never has to think about the whole Wave at once — only the next Ripple in front of them.
History Research Paper
Each completed Ripple is a small, visible win. Two down, three to go — momentum builds one manageable step at a time, instead of one overwhelming deadline.
Built to help students get started.
Currently uses AI not to do the work for students, but to remove the blank-page problem that keeps work from starting in the first place.
AI-assisted project planning
Currently helps map out a Wave from start to finish, suggesting a logical sequence of Ripples based on the type of assignment.
Smart task breakdown
Large, vague assignments are turned into specific, doable Ripples — replacing "start the project" with a real first step.
Suggested schedules
Currently proposes realistic times to work on each Ripple, based on deadlines and how a student's week is already shaping up.
Adaptive workload planning
When a deadline shifts or a week gets busier, Currently rebalances upcoming Ripples instead of leaving a student to renegotiate everything by hand.
Today
TUESDAYWorks with the tools students already use.
Currently doesn't ask students to start from a blank slate. It connects to the classroom tools teachers already assign work through.
Sync with Google Classroom in a few taps
Assignments import automatically
Each assignment becomes a Wave
Currently generates the Ripples
Everything stays organized in one place
Designed for how students actually think.
Currently was shaped around the everyday realities of planning, starting, and following through — not around a generic to-do list.
Task initiation
By surfacing one specific Ripple instead of an entire Wave, Currently lowers the barrier to simply beginning.
Working memory
Students don't have to hold an entire project in their head — Currently keeps track of what comes next.
Planning & sequencing
AI-suggested Ripple order gives students a reasonable sequence to follow instead of a blank planning page.
Organization
Waves, Ripples, and Google Classroom assignments live in one consistent structure, not scattered across apps and notebooks.
Visual clarity
A focused, uncluttered interface shows today's work clearly, without a long list of future obligations competing for attention.
Reduced overwhelm
By narrowing the view to one Wave and one Ripple, Currently helps prevent the paralysis that comes from seeing everything at once.
Currently is a productivity and organizational tool. It is not a medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic product, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace guidance from teachers, clinicians, IEP or 504 plan teams, or other qualified professionals.
Built by people who care about how students get unstuck.
Chronomus LLC is an educational technology company based in Lawrence, Massachusetts, focused on helping students build stronger organizational habits, improve executive functioning, and develop independence.
We started Chronomus because too many capable students lose time and confidence — not from a lack of ability, but from not knowing how to begin. Currently is our answer: a tool that meets students where planning actually breaks down, and helps them take the next small step forward.
Currently is built first for middle and high school students, including those with ADHD, executive function challenges, IEPs, and 504 plans — and designed to work alongside the parents, teachers, schools, and academic coaches who support them.
"To bridge the gap between knowing what needs to be done and actually getting started."
Privacy Policy
01 Overview
Chronomus LLC ("Chronomus," "we," "us," or "our") operates Currently, a student productivity and organizational platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to students, parents, teachers, and schools who use Currently. We designed Currently with student privacy as a foundational requirement, because the platform is used in classrooms and at home by minors as well as adults.
02 Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, school or grade level (if provided), and account credentials.
- Assignment & task data: Waves, Ripples, due dates, notes, and progress status created or imported into Currently.
- Google Classroom data: with explicit authorization, course names, assignment titles, due dates, and related metadata used to populate a student's dashboard.
- Usage information: how a student interacts with the app, used to improve scheduling suggestions and reliability.
- Device & technical information: device type, operating system, and app version, collected to support and secure the service.
We do not require students to provide more information than is necessary to use Currently, and we do not sell student information.
03 How student information is used
Information collected through Currently is used only to operate, maintain, and improve the platform — including displaying Waves and Ripples, generating AI-assisted schedules and task breakdowns, syncing with Google Classroom when authorized, providing support, and keeping accounts secure. We do not use student data to build advertising profiles, and we do not show third-party advertising to students within Currently.
04 Google Classroom integration
When a user connects a Google account, Currently requests only the access scopes required to read relevant coursework and assignment data. This connection can be reviewed or revoked at any time through Google Account settings or within Currently's account settings. Disconnecting Google Classroom does not delete previously imported Waves or Ripples; those remain part of the account unless manually deleted.
05 Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect student and account information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit and access controls that limit employee access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we encourage users to choose strong, unique passwords.
06 Third-party service providers
Currently relies on a limited number of trusted third-party providers to operate the platform, including cloud hosting, authentication providers such as Google, and AI service providers that power scheduling and task-breakdown features. These providers are contractually limited to using student information only to provide services to Chronomus, and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes, including advertising.
07 Student privacy & school accounts
When Currently is used in connection with a school, district, or teacher-issued account, Chronomus acts as a school service provider and is committed to handling education records consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and applicable state student privacy laws. Schools and districts retain control over student education records and may direct Chronomus to correct or delete student data maintained on their behalf.
08 Children's privacy
Currently is intended for use by students, including those under 13, primarily through school-authorized accounts or with verifiable parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is reasonably necessary to operate the service. Parents and guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us outside a school-authorized context may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of that information.
09 Data retention & deletion
We retain account and assignment information for as long as an account remains active, or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill a school or district's data retention requirements. Users, parents, or administrators may request deletion of an account and associated data by contacting us at info@chronomusapp.com.
10 Your choices & rights
Depending on your location and status — such as a parent, student, or school administrator — you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with a Currently account. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use of Currently after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service
01 Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Currently, the platform and related services provided by Chronomus LLC ("Chronomus," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using Currently, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
02 Eligibility & school-issued accounts
Currently is designed for use by students, including minors, typically through an account created by a parent or guardian, or issued and managed by a school or district. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent, guardian, or authorized school official has reviewed and consented to your use of Currently under these Terms. Schools and districts that issue accounts to students are responsible for obtaining any consents required under applicable law.
03 Description of service
Currently helps students organize academic work by breaking larger assignments and projects ("Waves") into smaller, manageable work sessions ("Ripples"), optionally assisted by AI-generated suggestions for task breakdown and scheduling. Currently may also integrate with Google Classroom to import assignment information. Features, availability, and functionality may change over time as we improve the service.
04 Accounts & security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us promptly at info@chronomusapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use of an account.
05 Acceptable use
You agree not to use Currently to violate any applicable law; upload content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes the rights of others; attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems; interfere with the service's normal operation; or misrepresent academic work as one's own in a way that would violate a school's academic integrity policies. Currently is a planning and organizational tool — it does not complete assignments on a student's behalf.
06 Subscriptions & billing
Certain features of Currently may be offered through free and paid subscription plans. Where paid plans are available, pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation terms are presented at the time of purchase and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
07 Intellectual property
Currently, including its software, design, AI-assisted scheduling logic, and branding, is the property of Chronomus LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Students and schools retain ownership of the academic content they create within the platform, such as notes and outlines. We do not claim ownership of user-generated academic work.
08 Third-party integrations
Currently's Google Classroom integration relies on Google's own terms of service and APIs, which remain subject to Google's policies. Chronomus is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services that Currently connects to.
09 Disclaimers
Currently is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to make AI-generated schedules and task breakdowns helpful and realistic, we do not guarantee that any suggested plan, timeline, or schedule will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every student's circumstances, course requirements, or deadlines. Currently is not a substitute for guidance from teachers, school counselors, IEP or 504 plan teams, or other qualified professionals.
10 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chronomus LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including missed deadlines, academic outcomes, or lost data — arising from the use of or inability to use Currently.
11 Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Currently for violation of these Terms, at the request of a school or district administering an account, or for other reasonable business or safety reasons. Users may stop using Currently and request account deletion at any time.
12 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
13 Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Currently after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
